Shamokin Chapter PIAA Basketball Officials Meetings
Meetings for officials will be held Sunday, Nov. 2 at 12 noon at Shamokin high school to discuss rules; Sunday Nov. 9 at 12 noon at the Legion; and Sunday, Nov. 16 at 12 noon at Knights of Columbus.
80s Party Night

Shamokin Speed and Agility Training
Shamokin will be holding agility and speed training sessions before the start of the winter sports season, similar to what the coaches did in the summer. Target audience is athletes from elementary age to high school. Sessions will be Saturday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. both at the Shamokin High School gym. SCT Lady Bomber's Fall Practices

Meeting for rules interpretation will be held Sunday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Building at 857 Chestnut St. in Kulpmont.
Coal Bucket Advance Ticket Sales
Advance tickets for Friday, Oct. 31's Coal Bucket game are on sale now in both the Mount Carmel and Shamokin Area Athletic Offices daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m until Friday. The game will be played Friday at 7 p.m. at Kemp Memorial Stadium at Shamokin. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for students.
