CHAMBERSBURG - Southern Columbia Wrestler Jaret Lane recentlywon the Pennsylvania Amateur Wrestling Federation (PAWF) 90-pound Cadet Division state championship in both freestyle and Greco-Roman at Chambersburg High School.
Noah Carl also competed in the Junior Division.
Lane then competed in the Cadet National Duals for the Pennsylvania National Team in Daytona, Fla. from June 10-14 competing against other national teams from around the USA.
Lane will also compete along with his brother Kent Lane, in the Asics/Vaughan USA Wrestling Cadet/Junior National Tournament in Fargo, N.D. in July. This is the largest tournament in the country for freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling and includes wrestlers from all 50 states competing for an individual national title or All American honors.
Jaret Lane will be a freshman for Southern Columbia in the 2014-2015 school year and his brother Kent, a PIAA state finalist for the Tigers this past season, will be a senior.
