Lourdes grad earns softball honor
ASTON - Emily Long, a 2013 Lourdes Regional graduate, recently completed an excellent freshman season for Keystone College in which she was named All-Colonial States Athletic Conference honorable mention.
Long, an outfielder, led Keystone in batting average (.378), runs batted in (34), slugging percentage (.546), total bases (65) and on-base percentage (.403) and made just one error in 46 chances in the field. She had 45 hits (tied for team lead), 10 doubles, two triples, and two home runs.
The Giants had a 12-24 overall record and were 9-13 in conference play.
