7 locals earn PFN honors
Seven local players were selected to the various Pennsylvania Football News all-state teams for 2013.
Earning first-team honors in Class A were Southern Columbia's Josh Tripp on the offensive line, Cody Pavlick at linebacker and Luke Rarig as an athlete.
The Tigers' Trent Donlan earned second-team honors on the defensive line, while running back Adam Feudale was selected on the third team.
In Class AA, Mount Carmel Area's Domminick Farronato was selected to the second team as a defensive back, while North Schuylkill's Nate Gadinsky earned third-team honors on the offensive line.
