MANDATA - Kasey Long scored 27 points and Mikhail Whitcomb 11, and both players neared the 1,000-point mark for their careers, as Line Mountain's girls basketball team remained undefeated with a 46-29 non-league win over Central Columbia on Wednesday.
Whitcomb now has 989 career points and Long 973. The Eagles (12-0) host Greenwood in a key Tri-Valley League game on Friday.
Long also had nine rebounds and nine steals. Line Mountain pulled away in the last quarter, outscoring the Blue Jays 22-10.
Abby Crawford topped Central with 10 points.
