COAL TOWNSHIP - Dylan Bowers and Kyle Koontz were both double winners as Shamokin scored a rare 107.5-78.5 win over Danville.

Bowers won the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, while Koontz swept the short sprint races.

MOUNT CARMEL - Central Columbia swept the top spots in a Heartland Conference meet at Mount Carmel.

Michael Swatski was Mount Carmel's best performer with two third place finishes in the 200 free and 100 backstroke.

COAL TOWNSHIP - Matching the boys' historic accomplishment, the Shamokin girls, on the strength of a diving sweep by Ciana Rollman, Erin Duganitz and Mariah Bielski downed Danville.

Samantha Carpenter was also a double winner in the 200-yard IM and 100-yard breaststroke.

CATAWISSA R.R. - Casey Savitski was the high scorer (16 points) for a Southern Columbia team that made short work of Hughesville on Tuesday.

Kristian Klebon added 11 points for the Tigers, which improved to 4-2 overall and 3-0 in Division II of the Heartland Conference.

Bill Breinich and Cole Rickert scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, for the Eagles.
