COAL TOWNSHIP - Molly Loftus had 24 kills. leading Lourdes Regional to a 3-1 (17-25, 26-24, 25-21, 25-15) Schuykill League volleyball victory over Panther Valley on Tuesday.
The victory clinches at least a tie for the Red Raiders in the battle for the Division II crown.
Anna Raybuck added seven kills and 10 blocks, while Kayla Shamus had 11 kills and eight service points. Ali Singh and Elen O'Donnell contributed 35 and 18 digs, respectively.
Lourdes won the JV match 2-0.
Volleyball Shamokin tops Haven
COAL TOWNSHIP - Kelsey Yacko led Shamokin (10-4) to the 25-12, 25-12, 25-21 victory over the Hurricanes with 20 kills. Ciana Rollman added 11 aces, and Anna Summers and Ally Delbaugh combined for 20 assists.
Shamokin won the JV match 2-0.

DANVILLE - Lewisburg's boys cross country team clinched the Heartland Athletic Conference Division II title with a sweep of Danville, Shamokin and Southern Columbia.
Lewisburg's Sean Walker won the boys race in 17:22, and Danville's Rachel Magliane won the girls race in 19:37.
