Kogut resigns as Bloomsburg coach
BLOOMSBURG - Mike Kogut has resigned as head football coach at Bloomsburg High School.
Kogut, former athletic director at Mount Carmel Area, had a 9-12 record in two seasons.
Kogut cited an extremely busy personal schedule as his reason for resigning. In addition to coaching and teaching part time at Tri-Valley, Kogut works 45 hours per week as manager at a Wal-Mart distribution center.
Kogut had a 34-26 record in five seasons at Tri-Valley from 2009-13.
