MILLERSBURG - Millersburg will host the eighth annual Tour de Millersburg Saturday and Sunday. Last year, more than 200 racers registered.
The tour begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday with the Lorena F. Lemons Time Trial, extending 5 miles north from the town square along the river. At 12 p.m., stage two features the 3rd Cataldo Muggio Memorial Criterium, a short loop through the middle of the borough, honoring local cycling enthusiast Cataldo Muggio.
Sunday holds another full day of competition with the Road Race stage from 8 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. with awards being presented to each category's winners as the final results are posted in the Gazebo in Market Square Park.

Proceeds from the Tour de Millersburg are awarded to community organizations throughout the local area following an application process. Since the inception of the Tour de Millersburg, more than $27,000 has been given back to the local community. Among those organizations that have benefitted from the grant process in previous years is the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, Millersburg Ambulance Company, Millersburg Fire Company, Millersburg Swimming Pool, Millersburg Police Force, Dauphin County Library System and the Special Olympics, to name just a few.
