ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine, the No. 5 overall seed, will get a chance to avenge its only Football Championship Subdivision loss of the season when New Hampshire visits the Black Bears in the second round of the FCS playoffs Saturday.
New Hampshire won, 24-3, two weeks ago, the week after Maine had already captured the Colonial Athletic Association championship. It's the seventh time the Black Bears have made the national playoffs and have a 3-6 record in those games.
Starting quarterback Marcus Wasilewski has thrown for 3,009 yards for Maine, second best in school history, with 23 touchdown passes.
The winner of the game plays the winner of the Southeastern Louisiana, the No. 4 overall seed, and Sam Houston St.
