COCOLAMUS - John Wilson pitched a two-hit shutout, leading Southern Columbia past East Juniata 5-0 in a District 4 Class AA semifinal Saturday.
Wilson struck out six, walked only two and allowed only one runner to reach second base in notching his seventh victory of the season.
Nate Hunter's bases-loaded double in the fifth was the big blow for the Tigers.
Hunter, Tyler Behrent and Blake Marks all had two hits each for Southern. Marks also had a double.
The Tigers will return to action Tuesday at 4:30 at Bowman Field in Williamsport when they meet Hughesville, a 4-0 winner over South Williamsport in another quarterfinal.
