BLOOMSBURG - Freshman Allan Yancoskie placed second at 182 pounds, leading Mount Carmel to a 6th-place finish in the DKI Wrestling Tournament at Bloomsburg High School.
Other placewinners for the Red Tornadoes were Mitchell Fletcher, fourth at 126; Zeke Zsido, fourth at 160; Seth Stablewski, fourth at 285; Blake Panko, fourth at 145 and Tyler Wariki, fourth at 152.
For Shamokin Area, Zach Tillett was third at 160, Michael Britton was sixth at 106 and Billy Leon was fifth at 132.

Lansberry wins title
WILLIAMSPORT - Seth Lansberry captured the 145-pound championship and five other Line Mountain wrestlers placed in the Top Hat Tournament Saturday at Williamsport High School.
Lansberry defeated Zak Herman of Jersey Shore 6-3 in the championship final.
Other Eagles who earned places were Erik Smeltz (182) and Colton Zimmerman (126), both fourth; Cameron Newman (113), fifth; Rayce Boyer (195), seventh; and Britton Heim (160), eighth.
