Up next: Southern Columbia grad Henry Hynoski and his New York Giants' teammates will host the New Orleans Saints Sunday with kickoff at 4:15 p.m. The game is set to be broadcast on Fox stations.
Last week: The Giants didn't fare well against their NFC East rival, the Washington Redskins. The Giants lost 17-16 on Monday Night Football but remain one game ahead of both the Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys in the race for their second-consecutive NFC East title. Hynoski (No. 45), the Giants' starting fullback, was kept off the stat sheet again. For the season, Hynoski has three carries for 12 yards and seven receptions for 32 yards.
In the media: Hynoski is currently in third place for the NFC Pro Bowl voting, but remains the top fullback in the NFC East according to ESPN blogger Dan Graziano. With the Giants' rushing production up and down each week and in the middle of the pack in team rushing yards (15th to be exact) in the NFL, Hynoski's media mentions fluctuate with the rushing yards.
