MCA Supper Club
Mount Carmel Area Supper Club will hold its fall suppers at Mattucci's Thursdays at 6:15 p.m. The club will continue as long as the Red Tornadoes are playing this season.
Gridiron Wars Alumni Game
Players are being sought to gauge interest for an alumni football game between Shamokin and Mount Carmel for alumni ages 18-55. Teams must have 30 players registered to participate. Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
Shamokin Rotary Club Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk will be held Thursday, Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. at Kemp Memorial Stadium. Pre-entry fee is $15 ($10 age 19 and under). Race day entry fee is $25. Shamokin Winter Sports Physicals
Friday, Nov. 9 the Shamokin Area Middle/High School will hold physicals for winter sports athletes. Any students who plans on participating in a winter sport should attend. If any student has already had a physical for the fall, they must still complete a recertification paper. Physicals will be done by Dr. Miller for $20, cash only, and must be paid at time of physical. Time schedule is as follows: junior high girls basketball, 1 p.m.; junior high boys basketball, 1:15; junior high wrestling, 1:30; varsity girls basketball, 1:45; swimming, 2 p.m.; cheerleaders, 2:15 and boys basketball, 2:30. Forms can be obtained on the school website or in the high school principal's office and must be completed by Nov. 9.

Tailgate Party
The Ed Romance Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame is sponsoring a pregame tailgate party for the 2002 Mount Carmel Area state championship football team Nov. 2, prior to the Mount Carmel-Shamokin game, at the Silver Bowl. The East Susquehanna Chapter of PIAA Basketball Officials will conduct a rules interpretation meeting, Sunday, Nov. 4, 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Kulpmont.
Volleyball League
The Sunbury YMCA is organizing a fall-winter volleyball league for 6-person teams. Play will begin Nov. 8 and continue approximately 8 weeks. Fee is $65 per team and $20 for each non-member.
