Up next: Southern Columbia grad Henry Hynoski and his New York Giants' teammates travel to North Carolina to take on the Carolina Panthers tonight at 8:20 p.m. The game will be broadcast on televsion on the NFL Network.

Last week: The Giants were able to come from behind to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41-34 last Sunday afternoon. Hynoski (No. 45), the Giants' starting fullback, got his first official carry in the NFL and rumbled for three yards. He also caught a five-yard pass from Eli Manning, but in the process of turning up field was cut down by Buccaneeers' cornerback Eric Wright, leaving an up-ended Hynoski face down on the field as the television broadcast went to commerical. Hynoski's injury was not serious and he returned later in the game, when we saw time in a one-back set because of teammate Ahmad Bradshaw's injury.

In the media: A slideslow on the New York Times website, shows the hit Hynoski took from Wright. That photo can be found by following the link on The News-Item Sports Facebook page.

Following @HenryHynoski on Twitter: Hynoski answered his many fans asking for status updates after the hit on Sunday with this:

"Thank you everyone for the concern but I'm great...Nothing to worry about! I love my fans!"
