Sunbury's Mark Smith won the United Racing Co. 360 sprint car feature at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday night. Smith's win was worth $2,000 and was the third of his season at Selinsgrove in his self-owned Mach 1 sprinter.

Smith started 12th and passed Hall of Fame driver Kramer Williamson on lap 11 in turn four and went on to win the 25-lap main event for his first URC win this season. Davie Franek edged out Williamson for second as Smith took the win by 5.8 seconds. URC point leader Robbie Stillwaggon and Kevin Darling completed the top five.

York's Pat Cannon scored his fourth win of the season in the speedway's regular 358 sprint car program. It was Cannon's 37th career Selinsgrove win. Overall, it was Cannon's fifth Selinsgrove win this year, including a win in the 360 sprint division.

Cannon grabbed the race lead with a few lap to go from Phil Walter to win the 358 sprint feature and take big step toward securing another track championship. Walter, T.J. Stutts, Smith and Jason Shultz completed the top five. Cannon's win allowed him to extend his point lead over Shultz.

Tony Adams of Sunbury won his second late model feature of the season. He started on the pole and led all 25 laps of the non-stop event in 9:20.75. Dylan Yoder, Dave Zona, Meade Hahn and Jim Bernheisel rounded out the top five. Point leader Jeff Rine of Danville finished seventh.

Bob Bussey of Northumberland scored his seventh roadrunner feature of the season to extend his point lead.

Selinsgrove presents a regular four-division show at 7:30 on Saturday featuring the 358 sprints, late models, pro stocks and roadrunners. The roadrunners will also run a make-up feature from July 21.

At Williams Grove Speedway, Brian Montieth picked up his third sprint car win of the season on Friday night. Doug Esh, Ryan Taylor, Alan Krimes and Frank Cozze were in the top five. Nate Hammaker won the 358 sprints over Rodney Westhafer and Mark Smith.

Ryan Taylor won the sprint car main event at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night. He beat Dan Shetler, Cliff Brian, Davey Sammons and Rick Lafferty. Coleby Frye won the late models, Derrick Garman won the pro stocks and Mark Watkins won the 305 sprints.

Donny Schatz drove by Pennsylvania native Stevie Smith on lap 14 and held off Brian Brown at the checkered flag on lap 50 to win $150,000 in the 52nd annual Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in south-central Iowa Saturday night. Schatz drives for Tony Stewart Racing and has won sprint car racing's biggest prize six times in the last seven races.

Brown settled for a close second and $75,000. Craig Dollansky, Kraig Kinser and Jason Meyers were in the top five. Shane Stewart, Smith, Fayetteville's Lance Dewease, Tim Kaeding and Davey Heskin completed the top 10. Mechanicsburg's Lucas Wolfe finished 19th with a sour engine.
